hope and well-being

Who We Are

Roshni Ghar is a community-led mental health organisation based in Keighley, with outreach across the Bradford district. We provide culturally responsive mental health and wellbeing support to people from South Asian and minority ethnic backgrounds, including individuals who may not feel comfortable accessing traditional or clinical services.

We offer a range of support designed to meet people where they are, with services that are shaped by culture, language and lived experience. Our team works holistically, recognising that mental health is influenced by many factors  including housing, finances, isolation, discrimination and trauma.

Support is flexible and person-centred. Each person is offered a tailored plan based on their needs, which can include one-to-one keyworker sessions, peer support, creative and therapeutic group work, physical wellbeing activities and access to counselling in community languages. We also support people with more complex needs, providing home visits, wellbeing calls, and ongoing help in both community and acute settings.

We work alongside individuals to build confidence, improve emotional wellbeing and create lasting change. By offering safe, trusted spaces and culturally grounded support, we help people take steps towards recovery in ways that feel meaningful and sustainable for them.

Whether someone needs short-term support or more structured, ongoing input, we are here to listen, to understand, and to walk with them on their journey.
